Abstract
The review article deals with the systems of protection of persons in the entrances to permanent defense facilities from contamination and the concept of organization of detection and identification of contamination in the personnel line of the facility. The requirements and guidelines of NATO doctrinal and standardization documents relating to the problem of detection of contamination in permanent defense facilities were analyzed. The technical solutions used for detection and identification of contamination were characterized in terms of their applicability to fixed defense facilities. A proposal for detection and identification of contamination in fixed defense facilities was presented, taking into account facilities without and with personnel movement.
