ENERGOCHŁONNOŚĆ SYSTEMÓW WYTWARZANIA CHŁODU W OBIEKTACH HOTELOWYCH

Abstract

The paper presents the general characteristics of energy consumption in the hotel industry all over the world and in Europe. The design and actual energy consumption needed for cold production in selected hotels is presented. Technologies and procedures necessary to reduce the use of fossil fuels are indicated. Then, the future cooling technologies currently under consideration are presented for use in the next 10 -20 years. The work underlined the need to reduce the energy consumption of refrigeration and air-conditioning installations due to environmental protection and the purity of the atmosphere. This directly determines the further development of the hotel industry in the form of modern and innovative solutions.
